Sustainable Alpaca Wool Goods

Our alpaca blankets, throw blankets and other home goods are handmade in Peru by skilled artists in Fair Trade facilities. The alpacas are domestically raised and since they don't shed their fleece, they must be regularly sheared for the health of the animal. No alpacas are ever harmed in the making of our products!

Reasons to Use Alpaca Instead of Sheep's Wool or Acrylics

In addition to alpaca wool being more effective than sheep's wool or acrylic blankets at thermal regulation, it's also a much better option for those with allergies. Alpaca wool is naturally hypoallergenic, as it contains no lanolin and does not retain dust or pet dander.
